Position Overview

Division ONE’s on‑air talent roles are offered as remote, part‑time independent contractor gigs, paid at a fixed rate per stream. Selected talent can choose which broadcasts to join, collaborate with our production team, and help deliver the highest‑quality collegiate esports coverage available. Streams run year‑round, with opportunities to work at our LAN Finals event in Q2 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Casters

• Deliver live commentary (play‑by‑play or color) that keeps our audience engaged.
• Stay current on team rosters, player performances, and evolving game metas.

Producers

• Operate streaming software (OBS, vMix) to manage scene transitions, overlays, and audio/video feeds.
• Conduct pre‑show technical checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with on‑air talent.

Observers

• Track in‑game action to capture every pivotal moment, ensuring our audience never misses a beat.
• Communicate with the production team to highlight key plays and player perspectives.

Analysts

• Provide data‑driven in‑game and post‑game analysis, interpreting strategies, trends, and player statistics.
• Collaborate with casters and hosts to enrich the broadcast narrative.

All Roles

• Arrive punctually for pre‑show rehearsals and technical run‑throughs.
• Adapt on the fly to live broadcast changes while maintaining professional composure.
• Work closely with Division ONE staff to uphold our high standards of production quality.

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated broadcast or streaming experience in esports or gaming content.
• Deep knowledge of League of Legends and/or Valorant, including current metas and competitive scenes.
• Strong communication skills and a confident on‑air presence.
• Producers only: Proficiency with OBS, vMix, or similar broadcast tools.
• Submission of a portfolio or demo reel showcasing your on‑air or production work.
