West Virginia VS Boise State
Boise State started off game 1 on Bind (Boise State pick) with a solid 4-round win streak, catching West Virginia off guard. But West Virginia recovered. They went from being 1-4 to 3-5 (with BSU Master getting a quad kill in round 7) then 5-5 to 6-6 even. Game 2 on Split (West Virginia’s pick) showed the difference in skill between the two teams. This time, West Virginia had the 6-1 lead. Boise State wasn’t able to tie up the score as the distance grew over the course of the game. The score became 11-5 then, with a Thrifty helping in round 17, West Virginia got the 13-5 victory.

Winthrop VS Stony Brook
This matchup between Stony Brook and Winthrop truly shook up the Valorant standings in Division One. Corrode (Stony Brook pick) started as a bad map to choose as Stony Brook was behind, 4-1. They ended up not only tying but coming out ahead of Winthrop. A flawless Thrifty in round 6 and a Flawless in round 11 helped propel Stony Brook to score 4-7. Winthrop only managed to secure 2 more rounds while Stony Brook rushed to 12 points. Game 1 ended 6-13 for Stony Brook. Truly, they have shown to be worthy opponents. Haven (Winthrop pick) was exciting. It began 2-2, SBU fell behind to be 6-4 then caught up 6-6, it happened again to SBU at 8-6 then became 8-8, 9-9. During those fights, Stony Brook clutched round 5, and SBU Rukie won a 3v1 Clutch in round 8. Winthrop had their own highlights as WU Governor scores a triple kill in round 10 and WU Infiltrator obtains an Ace in round 18. They’re able to amass more key rounds as rounds 14 and 20 are Flawless. It was a 13-10 win for Winthrop. Game 3 on Sunset (Decider) was the most intense game in Division One Valorant Playoffs. The neck and neck playstyle that began game 2 came back until it became 9-7. Stony Brook got Thriftys on rounds 2, 4, and 7 and a Flawless round 12. SBU BIG TONKA T is a MVP with triple kills on rounds 6 and 7 for his team. Winthrop was also playing really well. They had a Thrifty on round 3 and Flawless rounds 13 and 18. WU Infiltrator got a multi-kill in round 10, WU Moobs secured a triple kill in round 13, and WU Governor pulled off a nasty quad kill in round 14. Stony Brook really struggled tackling B site. Bind (Maryville pick) had Stony Brook get a 0-5 start that included a Flawless in round 5. Round 6 was when Maryville began their own ascent. With a 5-round win streak directly after the last, the score became 5-5. Then 6-6. Stony Brook was able to get two more points, but Maryville was too strong. MU Geeza even achieved a quad kill for a Flawless round 14. It ended 13-7 for Maryville. Game 2 on Split (Stony Brook pick) showed the Maryville that dominated the regular season. Right off the bat, they went on a 12-round win streak. There weren’t going to be any close rounds this time. Highlights included MU Chloric’s triple kill in round 3 and a Maryville Flawless in round 10. MU Chloric was deathless until Stony Brook managed to capture round 13.
