With Week 3 of Division One finished, here's a recap of Valorant matches, standings, highlights, and player statistics so far.

Week 3 is over, which means it’s time to recap what’s been going on in the League of Legends sphere of Division One! Not only will matches and standings be featured, but also a Play of the Match clip(s) for all four games.

Utah VS St. Clair

St. Clair caught a win against Utah in last Sunday’s game. Most often when players of the two teams saw each other around corners, St. Clair was quicker and/or more precise on the draw. This is clear in the 2-13 ending score for game 1 on Lotus (St. Clair pick). During it, St. Clair’s sSef got a quad kill (one single kill then a quick triple) in round 3, and St. Clair’s Jazzyk1ns got a triple in round 15. Utah was able to capture more rounds in game 2 on Ascent (Utah pick). They were able to go from 2 points up to 8, winning 6 rounds in a row, with Utah’s Superman getting a triple for a round. However, St. Clair was 2 points away from victory, and Utah couldn’t keep their round-win streak.

Utah is 0-3 and St. Clair is 0-0 in Division One.

Ohio State VS Winthrop

Game 1 on Corrode (Winthrop pick) between Winthrop and Ohio State was exciting to watch. Winthrop seemed to be in the lead, 4-10, even getting a flawless round 2, when Ohio State locked in. They won 4 rounds in a row, including Ohio State’s Des getting a quad kill in round 10. The win ended up going to Winthrop, 8-13, but it set the table for an expected close game 2. But that’s not what happened. Game 2 on Lotus (Ohio State pick)ended with a steamrolled 0-13 win for Winthrop. Ohio State tried to get the advantage multiple times, but Winthrop’s prowess had ignited after game 1, claiming round after round.

Winthrop is 2-1 and Ohio State is 1-2 in Division One.

Stony Brook VS Maryville

Game 1 on Sunset (Stony Brook pick) seemed to be in Stony Brook’s hands as they claimed control in the first two rounds, but Maryville flipped the scales. Maryville started winning round after round, only losing one to Stony Brook. Ended 3-13. Maryville’s RENZ even got a triple with Neon’s Overdrive ultimate in round 5. Stony Brook was able to keep game 2 on Lotus (Maryville’s pick) neck and neck, but Maryville, once again, pulled ahead despite their strong plays. The game ended 8-13.

Stony Brook is 1-2 and Maryville is 3-0 in Division One.

Boise State VS West Virginia

The last Valorant game streamed in week 3 was Boise State VS West Virginia. Game 1 on Haven (West Virginia pick) had West Virginia’s Excite getting a triple in round 4 and 12 and Yearn a triple in round 7. However, Boise State showed promise when Skies clutched round 6 and 9. The match still went to West Virginia, 5-13. Game 2 showed Boise State’s adaptiveness. They played more defensively and slowly which was great against West Virginia’s aggressiveness. Boise State’s Skelesis managed to get a triple-kill clutch, and, the team, a flawless in round 6. Unfortunately, when West Virginia won round 10, Boise State eventually lost the lead and couldn’t recover despite being up by 6 points. The game went 8-13 to West Virginia.

Boise State is 1-2 and West Virginia is 2-1 in Division One.
