Ohio State's Delight has started off Division One's Spring Split with great plays against Boise State and St. Clair.

Ohio State players 2m2mc and 5fire get a lot of well-deserved praise, but Delight on support should also be brought to the public’s radar. Joining Ohio State’s esports roster in September 2025, Delight has assisted his team in getting a 3-3 score in Division One’s Fall Split that sent them to playoffs. This Spring Split showed a stronger fire as his great plays on Boise State and St. Clair helped land Ohio State at 2-0, undefeated.

VS Boise State

Once again, Ohio State won against Boise State, 2-0, in the regular season, only this time, Delight’s performance can show how dominating the first game was. Zero deaths and sixteen assists. Delight playing as the champion Nami was a great start to their Spring Split season. When bot lane was comfortably at an advantage, he was able to roam across all three lanes for his team. This access to stuns and healing in the early game helped push other lanes, making a 1v1 turning into a 2v1 boost for Ohio State. Later in the game, Delight scored a massive 3-player knock-up with his Tidal Wave ultimate while Boise State was returning to their base. His skill at getting these stuns would continue into game 2, despite Boise State putting up more of a fight and him playing as the champion Karma.

VS St. Clair

Ohio State’s game-1 win was surprising for followers of Division One. St. Clair won 0-2 against them in the Fall Split, only to lose 2-1 in the Spring Split with the loss of two players, Lyg and Ricky. This doesn’t mean that the fight wasn’t difficult. Delight went up against Miracle as his support opposite, someone that has been shown to be a top support player in Division One. And yet, Delight was still able to prove himself. A 4-player knock-up as the champion Rell in led the way for his to capture a must-needed drake and flip the battle for anyone that doubted Ohio State’s ability. Delight did have a certain amount of aggressiveness in his playstyle that would open him up to being solo-killed throughout the game. Sometimes this would be his downfall. Luckily, it worked out most of the time. Being back on Karma in game 3 did seem to stable Ohio State for the win. He was able to get stuns that prevented St. Clair from fleeing from his stronger teammates like 2m2mc when a team fight looked to be happening. This became crucial as Ohio State turned the advantage to their favor. The final run towards nexus had Delight in the thick of it to make sure his teammates could clear the base for the win.

Throughout all three games, Delight came out on top when it came to the warding battle. Teams rely on their supports to focus on clearing the fog as they level up for fights. Being able to see as much of the map as they could certainly helped Ohio State plan and counter St. Clair’s attacks. Whenever a drake was up, St. Clair couldn’t run from Ohio State’s eye. Delight’s awareness in his wards was a huge advantage for them.

Match(es)

Ohio State’s Delight now has five battles left before playoffs to help boost his team in getting a higher score than 3-3. Maryville and Winthrop are top contenders, but Utah seems to be itching to show how much they have improved as well. It’ll be exciting to follow his and Ohio State’s journey in Division One’s Spring Split.
